About Dearborn Country Club
The Dearborn Country Club golf course located on 160 acres at the corner of Military and Golfview, was designed by nationally known architect and golf course planner Donald Ross following automotive pioneer Henry Ford’s instructions to “lay out a good, practical golf club that any and everybody could use.” It opened for play in 1925 and was redesigned in 1966 by golf course architect C.E. Robinson. He created a stunning layout that offers an exciting challenge of knolls, valleys, lakes and large, undulating greens.
Over the years, the Dearborn CountryClub has hosted the Mazda Senior Tournament Players Championship and the Lady Stroh's Open. Distinguished golfers including Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, Gary Player, Nancy Lopez, and Kathy Whitworth have graced our manicured fairways and magnificent greens. Famed architect Albert Kahn designed the elegant clubhouse.

 Hole # 18 is a great finishing hole with a green that is two hundred feet from front to rear divided by a hog back ridge running from the center of the green to the rear.It is narrow in front with a large pond on each side and is twice as wide at the rear.

 The third hole has a narrow landing area between bunkered mounds. The green might be reached in two but a pond left of the green and woods on the right will catch the errant shot. The undulations and slope of green make for are a good puttting test.

 Golfers have a chance to test their putting skills and hone their strokes on a large practice green with a variety of hole locations and many undulations similar to those that golfers will encounter on the course. |
 Hole number twelve is a beautiful short par four dogleg to the left around a large pond with trees on the right for those who wish to avoid the water. The green is large and approached through a shallow valley and makes this a good hole for the accurate player.

 The first hole features an elevated tee with a wide landing area guarded by a trap on the left and trees on the right. The second shot is to an elevated, shallow, wide, crowned green that slopes to the right and left. Huge traps at the front and to the left of the green make it a very challenging hole.

 The fifteenth hole is a picturesque par three with an undulating well trapped green. With the pin placement on the plateau at the front of the green, players will have a difficult time making par.

 Thirteeen is a delightful par 3 with a wide, shallow green guarded by a pond and willow tree on the left. The approach to the green is through a shallow valley making the chip shot difficult if the tee shot is short. Pin placement will affect the difficulty of this hole.
